Helping Wheels Mobility and Conversions rates a 5 star from me because of the quality of their products, the helpfulness and expertise of their sales people, and their attention to detail of their service people and the campany's overall helpfulness. I have had experience with one other mobility supplier in the Asheville area and Helping Wheels outranks them in every category.
This past May a tree fell and totaled my Dodge Charger. I started calling around to the different car dealerships in the area, trying to locate a replacement. I was talking with Steve at Helping Wheels and he reminded me about Helping Wheels Mobility which had slipped my mind. After talking with Craig, he brought a Vehicle out to my Home for me to look at. Then a few days later he informed me about a Chrysler Town & Country he had come across. It was my dream Van & something that I am proud to own. Let Helping Wheels put you in your own “DREAM” Mobility Van. For fifty years I’ve owned three businesses in Hendersonville. All of which were Institutions in their time. So, for me to speak highly of another business is something I rarely do. Thank you Steve, Andy, Craig, Donna & the numerous men that are a part of Helping Wheels..... Jimmy Freeman
Helping wheels has been helping people gain mobility for almost 10+ years. Stephen is a hardworking, trust worthy man who cares about people in need. I am very grateful for his help with our veterans in their times of need. If you want great prices and great work, I would highly recommend Helping Wheels!
Incredible people with compassion for those they serve!!!
I am typing this for Harrison Darnell, retired CSM "I am a disabled Army veteran who was approved for a conversion van in 2013 because of injuries I received in Vietnam and was paralyzed. I was being seen by two VA Centers. When one facility didn't have the services I needed, I was sent to the other. Along the way, I didn't know I had been approved for the van. When I started using the Asheville VA, my needs were handled quickly and professionally. When Asheville VA determined I qualified for the van, they found I had already received the approval. However, this approved paperwork had been lost. So I had to start the process again. During this waiting time, I was referred to Helping Wheels Mobility on Tunnell Road, only a couple of blocks from the VA Center. There, I met the wonderful people who work there: Craig, Donna, and Andy. Craig was tremendously helpful and very knowledgeable about conversion vans, as well as what is required by the VA. He and Donna were always willing to answer questions, as well as Andy. All the paperwork was completed by this office and Craig had close communication with the department at the VA that handles getting vans for disabled vets, as well as many other things. The VA paperwork was completed again in Sept. 2018 and I received the van the first week in January 2019. I felt the employees at Helping Wheels Mobility went over and above to help me through the process of getting a van and making sure it would handle my needs. They are just the best!!"
